Patricia is currently the nanny to our 19 month old daughter and has been with us approx. 5 months so far. There are so many positive things to say I don't know where to start: -Great with our daughter- Our daughter smiles, points at Patricia and runs over to say hello every morning when she arrives. She absolutely loves Patricia. Patricia plays games with her and teaches her as well. Every once in a while she will recognize a flash card or say a word I know I didn't teach her and it only takes a moment to realize Patricia taught her! When Patricia is watching our daughter we know she is safe and in good hands. The funny part is some of the grandparents aren't even this good with our daughter! -Great with our entire family- Patricia is awesome and has basically become another member of the family. She is loved by my daughter as well as our 2 bulldogs (i.e., the other "kids"). Patricia used to take our daughter out in the backyard while our dogs would sit at the door sad they were not involved. One day Patricia asked if it was ok to let the dogs join and they have all had a blast since then. My wife and I look out from our office and smile when we see our daughter chasing the dogs and all of them running around having a blast in the backyard. The entire family is happy with Patricia. Patricia has also been helpful to the parents. My wife and I are new to Brentwood and are always asking Patricia about items that are new to us. What is CornFest like? Where are the good farm stands? Patricia has really helped us settle into our new home and we couldn't ask for more from a nanny. -Quality help- Patricia has gone above and beyond her required duties. Patricia does more than just care for my daughter, she tries to help us out when she can. My daughter and pregnant wife became ill while I was out of town on a business trip and Patricia contributed to the household chores and was a lifesaver for my wife. Patricia also makes an effort to clean up the living room where all the baby toys are if she has time at the end of her day. -Professionalism- Patricia has always returned calls/emails quickly. I contrast her with some contractors I have dealt with recently and the negative impression you get when someone never gets back to you. Not a problem with Patricia! Patricia also goes out of her way to keep things quiet when my wife or I are on the phone with a meeting for work (we both work from home). She will text us that she is taking our daughter for a walk or to play outside and will make sure we are done with work first before asking us anything. -Punctuality- This may not seem like a big item but it is crucial for my wife. Her work day starts as soon as Patricia is ready to take over care of our daughter. Patricia is always on time and ready to take our daughter by the time my wife has to start work. There have been times our work scheduled early meetings but my wife and I know exactly when Patricia will be available to take over with our daughter. I would highly recommend Patricia to another family...just don't take her away from us completely! We have baby #2 expected soon and will still need her help for the near future --Antonio X.
