I am highly skilled in assisting clients with activities of daily living. I strive to create an environment which is both fulfilling and encouraging while aiming to preserve my clients' dignity and sense of independence. I have worked in various situations like hospice care, COPD, Parkinson's, Lou Gehrig disease (ALS), Alzheimer's and more. My duties included, but were not limited to, assisting with ambulation and exercise, personal hygiene, meal preparation, recording medication, laundry and light housekeeping. I have a compassionate nature and kind disposition that is needed in the field. My specialty is keeping the client's mind active while being patient and optimistic. Excellent references are available.
