I am a proud mother of two wonderful independent grown women. As I enter my 60's I am looking to pursue my deepest passion - caring for children. I love cooking, painting and various creative activities. You can find me constantly on-the-go, running (currently training for a marathon) and walking my 2 gorgeous labradors around the city. I like working with kids because I can positively impact their lives. I also love the joy and playfulness that naturally accompanies childcare. I am patient, energetic and passionate about communication. I started working with kids when I worked in a daycare center at 17. I raised my two daughters as a stay-at-home mom and have cared for many nieces, nephews, and kids in my community. I am flexible and open to all ages, including infants, and happy to work with families with more than one child. Pets are also great! I am glad to prepare snacks and dinner for the family. I am open to meeting the many differing needs of families around Boston.
