Hi! After being retired from teaching for a year, I found that I missed teaching and assisting students to reach their highest potential. I have 34 years of experience teaching grades 1, 2, 3, and 6 at the elementary level, as well as teaching at the Middle School level in 6th grade Social Studies, 7th grade Social Studies and 7th grade Language Arts. In addition, I also have my ESL certification as well as several years of experience in private tutoring. I look forward to working with your child, whether it's online or in person! Thank you!

Mrs G as she is known in my house is loved by our family. I have three kids who have bounced between hybrid and remote learning this school year. She has been a tremendous asset to our family. She takes the time to understand the curriculum, work through their struggles, as well as bring additional learning to them where gaps had been found. My children are in 3rd grade (twins) and 8th grade and all with different learning styles. I was always so impressed on how well she knew each of my kids and was able to adapt to their learning and help them succeed. Each day started with this is a Mrs G day and never met with disappointment. This is a challenge in my house as two of my children are most definitely not remote learners. The success of my children is largely in part to Mrs G. As a mom she is fantastic to work with. She gives daily written reports. Makes check lists for the kids so they know their work goals for the day. I will continue to work with her what a positive influence!!
