About Pamela

I am the mother of 3 children; ages 24, 21 and 18. My husband was the main bread winner while I was, for the most part, a stay-at-home mom. I home-schooled for a good portion of their lives. I had a wonderful time doing this. As they got older we became involved in a lot of other activities, skiing, dance, 4-H, we got animals, including dogs and horses. Our oldest daughter became very involved in the arts and theater, specifically aerial theater and I was very involved with that with her and our middle daughter was very involved in 4-H and horse showing and again I was very involved with that also. Our son is much more reserved and likes to hang out with Dad working on cars. Definitely no showing or recitals or theater for him. That is not his cup of tea. He has always liked small groups much better. As they got more independent I went back to work in an office 4 days a week. I really miss having young children in my life though. I miss having that interaction. You never know what they are going to say or do, and I love that. I love their innocence and their energy. I love to see the world from their eyes. They see things so differently from our jaded eyes sometimes and it can be so refreshing. I am very hands on when it come to kids. I love to get right down and color with them, draw, build Legos, read whatever it is I absolutely love babies also, rocking them, cuddling them, their little toothless grins. They grow so fast, I cannot get enough of them when they are little. I don't really think I can say that I have a favorite age though. I love something different about every age. They are all just fun in themselves. I can be flexible with times and would enjoy having children at my home as well as caring for them in their own home. I would also, of course, provide reference and a background check if seemed appropriate. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
