About Paloma

Hi, I'm Paloma! I'm a warm, positive, and creative caregiver with experience in infant/toddler care and tutoring school-age kids in English, art, and music. I'm studying child psychology and I plan to become a therapist specializing in neurodivergent and special needs children, kids' mental health, different family structures, and multicultural families. I have a drivers license, a car, and a perfect driving record, plus CPR/First Aid training for adults, children, and infants. I believe in affirming kids' sense of self from a young age and building trust and confidence through open communication with the parents about boundaries, expectations, and each child's unique needs. I love using cooking, music, art, and play to help children learn to express themselves in a healthy way. I can also teach basic ASL to kids still developing verbal skills!
