I have a wide range of experience working with children. I started working at a daycare as a substitute teacher with infants-1st grade where our main focus was teaching Spanish, counting, and reading. I became the the assistant director. Afterwards, I directed the middle school English program at Oxford English School in Antigua, Guatemala. I go on routine mission trips to Mexico to visit an orphanage Rancho 3ms. After many years working with children, I now work as the advocate coordinator with Cuidando Los Niños with the goal of influencing more resourceful, trauma-informed early childhood education policy.
