About Paige

Hello! I have a Master's in Teaching and am credentialed in both History and English. Prior to my time in the classroom, I worked as an intervention teacher helping Kindergarteners and 1st Graders learn to read and write. I believe that when a student is struggling with a subject, it is usually because they do not see the value in it or it's not being explained in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to work with each student to help them find meaning in the work and also find which way of learning best suits them. I am patient, encouraging, and always try to make things fun. I can help with writing, editing, reading comprehension, study skills, memorization, and more. I like tutoring because it's very rewarding to see a student grow and become more confident in their skills In my spare time, I like to watch movies, read, and go play board games
