I am currently working at a school that specializes in students with down syndrome in the transitional kindergarten class as a TA. I also have experience in the classroom working with 20 pre schoolers as a teaching assistant. I had been nannying various age groups from 2-11 for many years prior to that. Teaching children is my passion and I love to do arts and crafts reading and writing with them. I usually like to have more fun and learning going on than TV or electronics time. I have reliable transportation, and am willing to help with homework, cleaning and meals.

Ozana agreed to work long term with my son after conducting a background check, two interviews and agreeing to start work on a Monday. Monday evening after her first day Ozana texted me that she tripped and fell down a flight of stairs and was banged up. She called out by a text message that next morning. She chose not to provide a follow up to communicate how she was doing or when she'd be returning as she stated she would. I decided to pay her for the one day worked and continue my search for long term childcare. Ozana seems to be working on improving her communication, being reliable and committed after accepting a long term job. I haven't heard anything else from Ozana to date.
