Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am currently employed as a Program Director in higher education and have just finished my MBA through Chico State. I am looking for weekend babysitting opportunities, either one-time or recurring. I love to provide kids with a positive and encouraging environment for comfort and growth. Ideally, I would work with a family who aims to nurture their children's discovery of the world through exploration, active play, and social emotional learning. I have experience nannying newborns to 15-year-olds, and I'm happy to cook, help with homework, and provide transportation to activities outside of the home. Onica's amazing with my 1-year old. Energetic, professional, and thoroughly invested in his well-being, she's become an essential part of our household. The thing I commend the most-above her reliability, punctuality, care for (and love of) my son-is the fact that, unlike other nannies, she works to understand the parents' vision for excellent childcare (nap schedules, socialization/learning style, etc) and develops a mode of nannying that works as an extension of parental efforts, not something that interferes/short-changes the kid to make her job easier. She's worth every penny.
