About Olya

Experience: 10 yrs

COVID-19 vaccinated

Hello! My name is Olya (I am originally from Ukraine). I am a family-oriented person and I absolutely adore children. I have studied child psychology (just for myself) to be able to avoid most "common" difficulties and to be the best parent for my child. My knowledge and personal experiences gave me great success while working with other parents and their children. After all, children can learn anything, as long as it's Fun :-) Personally, I am pretty much a "Jack of all trades" with old-fashion values! :-) I am Very Reliable, Honest, Organized, and very Neat. I stick to my word. I am a confident driver (with a clean record), very health conscious. I love to cook, bake bread, I have a garden. But most of all, my best value in this industry is I am a Fun-Teacher/Tutor. A child and I get the most of our time together by doing new things, going to new places, and learning something new every day! Thank you for visiting my page and I look forward hearing from you soon!

Olya was a blessing sent to me in my time of need. I still can’t believe how fortunate I was to have Olya as my baby’s nanny. But she was more than just a nanny, she focused on his development, making sure he reached his milestones, helped me establish proper nutrition and much more. I have had others watch my son, but that's all they did, “just watch”. I’m a first time mom (to a now 1.5 yr old), I’m still learning how to be a mom. When Olya joined us, my son was fully dependent on milk, did not want to eat solids. He was also a horrible contact sleeper, hard to put him down for naps. He was also very screen dependent, always had to have a movie or kid music videos on the TV so that he can be entertained. I had no clue how to cook baby/toddler safe meals, and when I tried to prep something for him, my son would just reject the food. I barely had my son on a sleep schedule, his sleep times were all over the place. Within a month of her being with us, she was able to get my son in a consistent eating and sleep schedule. She showed me how to prep meals for him in a way that is healthy and time saving for me. Olya was always very loving and generous and would even bring homemade (organic) foods she prepared for my son’s lunch/snack. She taught my son how to move around the house independently and was always right behind him for his safety. She consistently focused on his physical and speech development. She would set up play dates with similar age toddlers in our neighborhood to encourage development of his social skills. She would bring her own set of toys to encourage creative play. I thank my lucky stars everyday for having Olya in our lives. I plan on having my son start daycare when he turns 2, which means he will need to be more independent by then. So in preparation for daycare, Olya has already begun potty training my son (and we are almost done!) He is rapidly leaving behind the common "baby items" like pacifier, sippy cups, "nap milk", "white noise", and getting more and more independent (like feeding himself with utensils). She is also focusing on speech with my son, practicing sounds so he can properly communicate with others. In the beginning Olya started at my house. And even though she was able to improve quite a few things, but the fact that I work from home and my son being so clingy, was limiting Olya to propel my son's further development. Therefore, I decided to have him go to Olya’s home during the day (almost like dropping off at “daycare”. It was the best decision I could have made! I can tell he loves Olya, he doesn’t hesitate to go with her. He loves going to her house. Olya also provided healthy organic homemade meals and snacks for my son that he enjoys to eat. I love that my son gets a daycare experience before even starting daycare. I 100% trust Olya to give my son love and superior care. If you need someone to do more than just “watch” your child, Olya is your person. She is honest, open minded, punctual, dependable, responsible, trustworthy with high standards. Thank you for everything you have done for us Olya. WE LOVE YOU!
