Many years ago when my father was diagnosed with cancer I convinced him to stay with us in our home so I could take care of him. I took him around, went shopping with him and attended all doctor visits and follow ups, chemotherapy treatments, including being with him when he eventually had an operation. The operation improved his situation but the cancer had already spread to other parts. The time we spent together made an everlasting impression on both of us and he had only praises and thank for all I did for him. He eventually passed away but I have been a better father as a result of the care I gave him.
