About Olivia

My name is Olivia and I'm 29 years old. I spent about six years in Spain where I became fluent in the Spanish language and worked as a live in private English teacher, and nanny with children between 2-12 years old. A great experience of mine from Madrid was with a family as an English speaking play-friend. I spent 3-4 hours every day after school with the brother and sister (2 and 5 years old when I started), entering their world, expanding upon their interests, and playing with them, all while immersing them in and teaching them the English language. (This is something I could do with children in the US, but in Spanish!) In Michigan I worked as a high school Spanish teacher, substitute teacher and nanny. I worked as a nanny with an 8 month to 2-year-old girl, and I loved every minute of it! I love entering children's world, teaching them new things and watching/helping them grow--it's my "dream job". Recently returned to Michigan after working in France as a language assistant.
