About Olivia

Hello! I currently work in the insurance industry, but I bring over three years of experience as a third-grade teacher, with a broad background across K-6 education. I graduated from Illinois State University with a major in Elementary Education and an ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement. My background also includes roles as a lifeguard, swim instructor, camp counselor, and preschool student aide, reflecting my passion for working with children. I have been trained in CPR and first aid for adults, children, and infants, and I have received training in food handling, EpiPen administration, and preventing sudden infant death syndrome / shaken baby syndrome. I enjoy engaging kids through games, sports, arts + crafts, storytelling, singing, dancing, and more. I can also assist with homework and contribute to household tasks.
