Working with children is one of the joys of my life. Not only have I been a private school classroom teacher (pre-k, second and third grades, middle school, and high school (English and journalism) and tutor (all grades), but I have also led children's mentor groups and clubs, assisted in planning and working with children in summer camps, served as a nanny for a 1-year-old, extensively babysat, taught beginner and intermediate swim lessons to toddlers and young children, and worked as a lifeguard. I enjoy helping children explore their creativity and grow in their knowledge. In my personal life, I enjoy scrap booking, reading, photography, painting watercolor, and nature walks/hikes. I am a very creative, flexible, cheerful person who communicates well.

I have known Olivia for several years and she has a true gift for connecting with children. She is fun, creative and intentional! She has worked at my children's school for several years and now serves as the director of our entire after-school program. She comes up with the most engaging activities for the kids to do! Everything Olivia does she does with excellence. I highly recommend her!
