About Olivia

I'd describe my personality as patient, creative, and responsible. I like tutoring because I get to support students in a one-one-one or small group setting that allows me to meet them where they're at academically and tailor my support to their needs. I'm looking for a job that gives me the ability to work with students outside of the traditional classroom setting and gives me an opportunity to support a variety of learners. I started teaching four years ago in a Pre-K 4 classroom in Washington DC. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, and take my dog for hikes. One thing you should know about me is I have extensive experience as both a babysitter and a certified teacher. My skills include patience, the ability to explain a topic in more than one way, and a desire to foster perseverance.
