About Olivia

Hi there! My name is Olivia. I have tutored students from 6 to 20 in mathematics and science. My favorite fields are mathematics (especially calculus and trig) and chemistry! I have been a guest lecturer for the 4-H Camp Science Adventures program where I taught young children about the complexities of DNA and genetics in a fun and interactive way! I am building a small tutoring side business to help students of all ages become confident in their skills. My last students were two bright young girls who were struggling with distance learning. They needed a confidence boost and someone to give them customized lessons. They moved to top of their class and felt confident to go into the next grade. I recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Environmental Technology and GIS. Through my diverse education background, I am knowledgeable in various STEM fields including but not limited to geography, math, chemistry, and biology! I tutor within 10 miles of Frederick!
