About Ofelya

I am Ofelya, a current third-year PhD student at UC Davis, specializing in Biomedical Engineering. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma and have amassed a robust foundation in STEM subjects throughout my academic journey. My commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement drives me to excel further. With a year of experience tutoring students for their SAT and ACT exams, coupled with a year spent working at a tutoring center, I've honed my skills in aiding students with Math, Biology, and Chemistry. Additionally, I am actively teaching Armenian to young children at an Armenian school in Sacramento, leveraging my Armenian heritage. This endeavor has sharpened my teaching and mentoring abilities, enhanced my communication skills, and refined my adaptability to varying student age groups.
