Hi! My name is Octavia, I've just moved back to Maryland after spending the last 5 months on an epic hike across the country from the Mexican border to Canadian border on the Pacific Crest Trail. Before hiking I lived in Bend for just a year and a half working in wilderness therapy. I am a 28 y/o from Maryland, I graduated from Frostburg State with a recreation and parks management degree. I've volunteered/worked with kids my whole life whether it's summer camp, nannying, special event sitter, outdoor education, working with in schools programs and everything in between! I would love to help you and your family out however I can! My goal is to provide fun creative alternatives to screen time that encourage your kids to get outdoors! We hired Ovtavia to take care of our 7 week old while we were on vacation in Bend. This was the first time we had ever left our daughter with anyone other than a grandparent - it went great! As a nervous first time mom, Octavia calmed any nerves that I had once she arrived. Her calm attitude put me at ease and we were able to go out and enjoy an adult dinner. I came home to a happy baby. We would definitely hire Ovtavia again next time we are in Bend.
