About Nyla

Hello! My name is Nyla. I'm 23 years old. I have been working with kids professionally since I was 15 years old and have experience with all ages. I currently work as a nanny to 4 kiddos and previously worked at a daycare for 3 1/2 years as an Infant Teacher. I never back down from a challenge because there's always room for growth and I enjoy the work that I do! One thing you should know about me is my passion for music. I believe that music is much more than just sounds and words and really has the power to heal and soothe. My end goal career wise is to be a Music Therapist for children and young adults. I also love to incorporate ASL (American Sign Language) into my work to help as another form of communication. I enjoy learning the language and teaching it as it's proven to help children express themselves in a productive way, especially the younger ones! The work that is done with kids is always so inspiring and rewarding to witness that I intend to do it for as long as I can!
