About Nyamal

Hello, my name is Nyamal & I'm a student at UNC, looking for families to work for. I worked as a nanny/babysitter for ~2. 5 years, but started childcare since age 7 by heating bottles, feeding, playing, changing diapers, giving baths, etc. while taking care of my baby sister & other children from family & friends. I volunteered in many youth programs throughout high school, including leadership in my city's Parks & Rec. I see children as little people, & help guide them into becoming self-sufficient with emotional regulation skills. I've looked after children ranging from 6 months to 15yrs, but mostly work with toddlers & infants. I'm calm, patient, nurturing, & caring. I also do cleaning/tidying, meal prep, laundry, bathing, & house chores. I like to adapt to the parenting styles & routines of families I work for to maintain consistency and stability.
