About Nova

I'm a momma of 7 kids (birthed 5) ranging in ages from 5-19. Being a mother has not only taught me so much about children, but about myself. I am very patient, loving, caring, affectionate, understanding, active and reliable. I have several years of experience with children of all ages as well as preemies and kiddos with special needs. My youngest was born at 26 weeks which has taught me the importance of special care and attentiveness. I do not agree with plopping a child in front of a screen for entertainment but engaging them. We love playing outside, park trips, reading, walks, art activities, etc. I'd describe my personality as patient, honest, reliable. I like working with kids because they are so precious. They grow up so fast and it's up to us to be a positive role in their lives. I started working with kids when when I was 14. I watched my younger siblings as well as working with littles at church.
