About Norma

I have cared and worked with children most of my life. All of my jobs that I have held deal working with families of diverse cultures, different socioeconomic levels, and backgrounds. I worked in Education for many years (10 years) as a teaching assistant, substitute teacher, and tutor. I also worked as a Social Worker for about 12 years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Sociology. I also completed about 35 units towards a Teacher Credential program. As a Social Worker, I supervised visitations between children and parents separated by the court system, worked with children in Foster Care, and worked with foster families in need of childcare. I am looking for a part-time job in the evenings and weekends. I am also fluent in Spanish and have my own transportation.
