My senior care experienced was very rewarding. I am a person with full of compassion. On this job, you can encounter different kinds of personalities. Some are tough and some are easy. But you have to be consistent in everything you do. Most of my patients were Alzheimer and it was really tough to deal with this kind of disease. You have to assist them for activity of daily living and make them comfortable and be nice. Stressful that most of the time you have to watch and focus on the patient. The hardest part was when they were dying. You have to give all the comfort they need since the family was not around all the time. I also took care of patient with COPD. I was with them until the last moment of their lives. It was always sad at the end, but very fulfilling and rewarding experience.
