When my family decided it was time for my father to either move into an assisted living facility or stay home and have an in-home caregiver, we decided to go with the latter. We were all a bit nervous at first; not knowing if one person would be able to handle all of the attention he would require (i.e. meals, baths, clothing, helping to and from room to room, assistance using the restroom etc.). However, shortly after meeting and working with Nishirya, most of those concerns quickly vanished. I will say this; I have never met a more professional, caring, responsible home care professional. From day one, Nishirya made my dad feel comfortable. You could tell she genuinely cared and wanted to be there to make him happy. Not only would she prepare healthy meals and help get his clothes ready and things of that nature, but she would take the time to sit and visit with him. She would show a genuine interest in what he had to say and for an elderly man, this is invaluable. He would speak of her kindly when she wasn't around and was truly a bright spot in my dad's final time. I couldn't thank her enough for her hard work.
