About Nir

Hello! I'm Nir, a master's student in Social Welfare at UCLA with a passion for helping young people reach their full potential in academics and athletics. I hold a Psychology degree from The George Washington University and have extensive experience working with children as a middle school teacher, school counselor, basketball coach, camp counselor, and nanny. My approach is child-centered and goal-oriented, tailored to each individual's unique strengths and needs. I collaborate with students and families to set and achieve personalized short- and long-term goals, creating a supportive and positive environment. I use evidence-based strategies like scaffolding and growth mindset techniques to build skills step by step, fostering resilience and problem-solving abilities. Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching sports, going to the movies, and spending time with family, especially my younger cousins. I'd love to support your child's growth and success.
