About Nikki

Greetings! I am a former elementary teacher (US and abroad) with 17 years of experience in the classroom. I returned home to Memphis for two reasons: I wanted to eventually change professions and to be closer to my mom who has developed a disability. I am comfortable with children of all ages, except for infants. Also, I like all animals and have no known allergies to them. I have always believed that children deserve honesty, understanding, and respect. When I am caring for a child, then I am completely focused on that child and will do my best to ensure that they remain healthy, happy, and safe. I also believe in accountability and consequences, so if your child is accustomed to always getting his/her own way, then I am probably not the right caregiver for them.
