About Nikki

Port Townsend native with 22 years experience. I'm fun, silly, creative, caring, nurturing, loving and understanding. I enjoy working in an in-home situation vs. day cares mostly because I feel there's more time to interact. I like to provide good nutritional meals and snacks keeping them energized, happy and healthy. Weather permitted, I like to get outside where we can go to parks to play or even just for walks around the neighborhood. I use a great balance between rules/boundaries and having fun. Although I do think having some responsibilities and being respectful is important, I believe children should have the time to be children, enjoying their lives to the fullest. I like having a routine for the kids to rely on, including lots of time to play, but also include free times (so they can learn how to entertain themselves as well), meals, naps and learning times.
