About Niki

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a genuine passion. My extensive and varied experience caring for children aged newborn through middle school have solidified this work. I hold a graduate degree, and have nannied, taught preschool/middle school/high school, and served as a camp director for small children at the Evanston Ecology Center for a number of years. With a toddler of my own, I understand the importance of supporting families and providing reliable care. I am patient, creative, and friendly, always prioritizing a child's well-being and development. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm also happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicate with parents through verbal updates, text, or phone calls, always following your preferred method.
