About Nico

I recently graduated from Bennington College with a BA in Visual Arts and Dance, and alongside my studies I've spent eight summers working as a camp counselor. I grew up in Berkeley, CA, spending a lot of time outdoors as a kid, and I've enjoyed passing that along to the children I've worked with over the years. For the past two years, I've also worked in administration for an art day camp, which has given me both hands-on experience with kids and a solid understanding of what it takes to run a program safely and smoothly. I'm First Aid certified, and I've also completed conflict resolution training, which comes in handy for everything from playground disputes to helping kids navigate their own emotions. I believe that it's essential to give kids room to be creative and curious, whether that's through a hands-on project or time spent exploring outside. I'm comfortable adapting activities for all ages, and look forward to meeting you and your family!
