About Nicole

I'd describe my personality as Hardworking, compassionate, considerate. I like tutoring because I love watching children attain levels that they themselves never thought they could and simply watch their confidence grow. I started tutoring when a co-worker's son was struggling badly in fourth grade and on the verge of having to repeat that grade. In my spare time, I like to bowl. One thing you should know about me is that I believe preparing my students to do well at the level they are and to push them to think deeper about things which increases their learning capability. My skills include: 1. Breaking down difficult concepts so that students can get a better understanding. 2. Explaining things in different ways. 3. Listening to students and gain a better understanding of where misconceptions lie and help them to resolve them.
