About Nicole

I have almost 20 years of experience working with students. I began at Huntington Learning Center, working every job from tutor, to center director, to area SAT director. I appreciated being the one to test the students and understanding where the gaps are in their understanding. I think that idea still drives my educational theory today. I have worked in the public school system for the past 14 years, with three years in middle school and 11 in high school. I teach writing classes, both creative writing and an AP argumentation class. I teach SAT prep, both to students who want perfect scores and to students who are trying to get a concordant score for graduation. I understand how to help students become better writers and better test takers. I also work a lot with seniors on writing their college admissions essays.
