About Nicolas

I have experience in tutoring elementary to high school level math, science, English, and reading/comprehension students. Additionally, I have experience working with special needs children (specifically children with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and mild autism). I gained this experience from three sources: tutoring/mentoring my brothers, working with Infinite Grace Autism Academy (a local specialized school), and with a program called the Youth Leadership Foundation (YLF). I tutored my three brothers for a cumulative of 15 years in all the subjects listed above. At Infinite Grace, I tutored an entire class (8 students) in basic Algebra, Geometry, and grammar/reading skills. Further, my ability to mentor and reach out to my students is solidified with the YLF. A former student, I have been invited for the last four years to be a counselor/mentor to a team of six high school students with the objective in mentoring them mentally, morally, and emotionally.
