About Nicola

Hi, my name is Nikki! I'm a recent Information Science graduate from UMD. I'm passionate about technology and education, and love to work with children in those fields. I've spent the last couple of years substitute teaching for MCPS elementary schools. I was also an instructor for a computer science summer camp for middle schoolers. I am super creative and curious. I spend most of my time outside of work crocheting, reading, and learning Spanish and Swahili. Currently, my schedule throughout the week is pretty flexible (dates that I am currently unavailable: Jan 22 & 23). I live in Clarksburg, am able to drive, and am willing to travel up to 15 miles. I believe strongly that a consistent routine and well supported education is fundamental to a child's success. I look forward to working with a family whose values and needs are compatible with mine.
