About Nicholas

I'm a writer, teacher, and recent graduate of Columbia University's MFA program. Years of experience with children (both as a babysitter and as a teacher) have equipped me with a level of communication, organization, and, above all else, empathy, skills that I would like to extend to senior care as a means of connecting with a different generation of New Yorkers and supporting myself while I continue working on my writing. I'm meticulously organized, communicative, and cool under pressure. I started caring for seniors as a teenager, caring for my great aunt who lived without a partner. Later on, I did the same for my grandmother for the stretches of time during which her spouse was at work.
