About Nia

Hi! My name is Nia! I'm 22 years old, I'm from NY, and I'm currently a grad student at Tufts University studying Child Studies and Human Development. I also studied Child and Adolescent Mental Health studies for my undergrad at NYU. I have at least 8 years of experience working with children in various settings. I've been a tutor, a nanny, a part-time sitter, a teacher's assistant, a research assistant in a child development lab and a mentor. I'm an aspiring pediatric clinician and I truly enjoy working with children and families. Some things to know about me: I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide updates about their child's day. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and travel. I have CPR training and have taken coursework in early child development. Lastly, I'm committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your child!
