About Nelly

Nelly was a nanny for our twin boys for over 2 years. She took care of them from the time they were 10 weeks old until almost 2.5 years old. I can't say enough about how much we love Nelly. She was nurturing and caring when the boys were babies and then she she was very engaging with them as they grew older - keeping them busy and engaging them in different activities. I trusted Nelly from the very beginning and often relied on her for some advice (as I was a first time Mom and she already has 2 girls of her own). She always knew what to do and is very experienced on providing the right kind of care to babies and toddlers. Another quality I really appreciated in Nelly was her dependability, she was never late and often was even a little bit early to care for the boys. This punctuality was important for my husband and I as we knew we could depend on her to be on time so we could get to work. Nelly is very patient and loving and never seemed to take the 'easy way out' when caring for our kids. She made sure they always had what they needed and were cared for in the best way possible. She is very active and enjoyed spending time outside and at activities whenever possible with the boys. Nelly drove the boys to different activities and also was comfortable with our big dog in the house. We moved to a new house recently which is the only reason we had to say goodbye to Nelly. She was an important part of our family and I know our boys will miss her dearly. Any new family she works for will be very lucky to have her!
