About Neda

I am a developmental scientist with a MA in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies. I have worked as a preschooler teacher, a special education teacher, a behavior interventionist for children with developmental delays, in addition to caregiving and tutoring services for children from 0-16 years old for over 20 years. I am sensitive, kind, and verbally and emotionally intelligent. I respect children's need for autonomy and support their learning and development. I have expertise in infancy, toddlerhood, and preschoolers' development but I have also worked with children in middle school and cared for adolescents. I care about children's safety and well being so much that I have dedicated my whole life and career to their early care and education research and practice. I advocate for children and have zero criminal history. I can also tutor math, English, science, and most other topics in K-12. I live in DC.
