I'm a home health field nurse (LPN) with 22 years of experience. I've worked as a caregiver for 26 years. Skills include; medication management, wound care, mental health, proper nutrition/diets, palliative care, preparing meals, foley care, incontinent care, ostomy (colostomy, urostomy, ileostomy) care, proper hygiene, fall prevention. I have experience with with Dementia, Alzheimer's, CHF, COPD, Diabetes, schizophrenia, cancers, kidney failure, HTN, and more. I'd describe my personality as funny, adventurous, dependable, honest, confident, compassionate, caring, modest, little ornery. I like caring for seniors because they give me a great deal of satisfaction of making a difference in their lives. I'm looking for a job that needs a caregiver on weekends day shift. I started caring for seniors when I was 18 years old. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dog Duke. I love the outdoors, we enjoying hiking and kayaking.
