This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
I have over 20 years of experience working with elderly specializing with conditions such as dementia - cord spine injury - muscular dis trophy PLS very similar to ALS but not deadly and anyone in a wheel chair with mobility difficulties . To describe myself best I would say being educated having attended college articulate but also funny fun and chatty to bring a little sunshine to their lives . I am familiar with working along with therapists as to continue with exercise later on . I also consider myself as caring and patient oh so often not the case with so many care givers . I can basically cover all the daily needs needed such as bathing dressing simple meals some tidy up laundry errant or just an outing for the fun of it. Being older I would say of myself being mature and very responsible as well as reliable and punctual. I am located in Elkridge but having a good car do not mind some driving . I can as well provide strong references a back ground from the FBI .

Nathalie worked for me for 6 months and things went very well at the start. She was always on time and never called out. She was kind to my mother. However as my mother's condition declined and she was at the end of life she had to go on Hospice. Natalie, who has no medical training, did not agree with the doctors. She would force my mom eat and drink so she could "stay strong". Natalie would work weekends and every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday my mom would be sick from eating and drinking all weekend. She made my mom feel bad if she didn't eat or drink. Natalie was always nice to my face but would talk to my other care givers about how I was killing my mother and that I was a bad person. She made me doubt every decision I made when the hospice doctors were telling me how to care for my mother. She would completely ignore our care plan. She had her friend call hospice to report me two times for over medicating my mother. Hospice was monitoring her medicine so this went nowhere
