**Looking for a full time summer position!** Hi! I'm Natalie, and I have over 6 years of experience working with children from infancy to 14 years old. This includes two years as a full time summer nanny (live in, travel), and working at a daycare during the school year. When I work with children, I am deliberate in making my interactions and activities developmentally appropriate and in a way that promotes cognitive, emotional, and language development. It is important to me that I understand individual parenting styles so I can adjust and align my approach to theirs. I love to be active and outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. I also like to knit, paint, read, and spend time with my friends/family/cats. I am graduating this May with a degree in behavioral neuroscience and a focus on developmental psychology. We came through town for a family vacation and hired Natalie to watch our 11 month old at our hotel for 3 evenings. She was fantastic! She is interested in kids and well educated around child development beyond babysitting (her studies and her work in a daycare). She was also perfectly professional (timely, good communicator). We would hire her again and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!
