Hi! My name is Natalie. I am a 26-year-old mom to my 8-month-old daughter. Before becoming a mom I was a nanny for 8 years. I absolutely loved it and plan on starting back up with my daughter in tow. I'm currently looking for part time. I work best with ages 2 and up. I love to communicate, teach, and play. I have an authoritative care style. Meaning - your kids feelings matter me. I will listen to them and help them feel safe and heard. I will also establish and keep age appropriate boundaries, come up with plans that work best for everyone, and communicate with them when things don't go their way. Natalie is incredible! Partnering with her was such a dream. I needed someone who was a direct communicator, self-aware, structured, safe driver, dependable and also able to hold space for where I was at in order to work together 3 days a week with all the hand offs and problem solving. I felt like my kids needed a calm caregiver able to lean in and connect when they were having a hard time, validate their feelings and help redirect (Conscious Parenting stuff!). Natalie was just right for us. She wasn't phased at all by taking my 2 & 4 year old swimming at the pool, the river, the beach (and deal with all the sand!!), The Children's Museum and more. Natalie had an incredible capacity to be present with my kids as they played and got into normal sibling rivalry stuff (aka fighting over toys) and she helped my oldest, especially, express how she felt leaning into creative outlets like drawing it out. If I could, I'd hire Natalie as full-time, in-home care!
