Hi there! I am a credentialed middle and high school teacher professionally, and am currently working as a substitute in Alameda. While I get to know the area, and the district before applying to a full-time position in the fall, I am hoping to support families with part-time child care (ie. date nights, occasional sitting), tutoring, and pet care. Having recently moved to Alameda, I am excited to create new relationships with families in the Care community. I am highly experienced in child care, and have been babysitting since I no longer needed a sitter myself. She's my daughter. I know you're supposed to say your daughter's awesome, but she REALLY is. Her sensitivity keeps me in check. The "silly" people I'm inclined to joke about are off-limits when she's around. To her, everyone's a potential hard-earned story, a real life. Her sense of humanity makes me proud.
