About Natalie

I'm Natalie! I am a former elementary school principal and teacher. I was in education for 15 years and taught all subject areas in elementary as well as middle school Language Arts. I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a specialization in Literature. I hold a valid teaching and administrative credential. Since taking some time to have my two toddlers, I decided to tutor to stay connected to helping students! I am an equity-driven educator, understanding that each student is different and needs different levels of support. I have 20 years of experience supporting all ranges of learners, including students with special needs. I have tutored elementary, middle and high school students in reading, math, social studies, science, Algebra I, Algebra II. I have a range of teaching and engagement strategies to support all students and love using their strengths and interests to help them excel!
