About Nasrin

Nasrin was our full-time nanny for our baby boy for nearly one year. As working immigrant parents, we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have found her to take care of our child. When she started helping us, our 9 months old baby was at the height of the “stranger anxiety” phase. While none of the other nannies could connect with our kid emotionally to be able to gain his trust, Nasrin’s charm and experience allowed her to gain his trust even after 1 week. Drawing on her extensive experience in education (several decades), Nasrin organized a daily routine that included reading, music, play, outside trips (parks, walking), tidying up and scheduled sleep. This schedule combined with her kind attitude and loving nature created a nurturing environment for our kid. She taught him to stand up, walk, dance, sing, read, speak and paint. She is an amazing cook and prepared delicious meals/snacks and helped him explore news flavors/textures/foods. Many toddlers are picky eaters but our kid loves eating anything and everything thanks to her. She is extremely punctual, responsible and reliable. In one year of work, she was never late to work and always coordinated with us well in advance for off/sick days. Whenever our kid showed signs of illness, she immediately informed us and helped us figure out the problem faster. She is very energetic and is able to catch up with our boy's stamina for 9 hours every day. She goes above and beyond what's expected of a nanny in tidying up the kitchen, vacuuming the house and cleaning the baby's room. On several occasions she also cooked for all of our family. We loved her delicious authentic cooking and asked for the recipes. Our baby boy has grown to love spending time with her and thinks of her more like a grandma than a nanny. We ourselves have come to love/trust and rely on her like a grandma. That’s why we recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent who is looking for a loving, caring, thoughtful and responsible part-time/full-time nanny.
