About Naomi

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, confident, and enthusiastic. I like working with kids because I like to help them learn and have fun while doing it. I think it is very important to keep kids entertained but in a beneficial way. I'm looking for a job that is easy to work around my schedule. I am a volleyball player at Portland State, so being able to balance work with class in volleyball is definitely my priority. I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. I grew up with little brothers and cousins so I was always around kids. However I did not start getting paid to babysit until I was 15 and I watched my parents friends kids and then proceeded to work with other families afterwards. One thing you should know about me is how important safety is to me. I think when working with children creating a secure environment should always be the priority. Also being able to take care of an emergency calmly and sensibly.
