About Naomi

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, encouraging and empathetic. I am passionate about helping kids grow and empowering them to build confidence and know their self-worth so they can be difference-makers! I started working with kids 17 years ago and have had many jobs in a variety of settings working with kids such as nannying, camp counseling, transitional housing, outreach with those who are houseless, mentorship, advocacy, teaching, and working with kids with special needs. In my spare time, I love to spend time with people. I also love to be active; going to the gym, kickboxing and playing sports in the sun. I love to play music with others and write songs as well. One thing you should know about me is I love to encourage creativity in kids and do activities that bring that out. My skills include excellent communication and follow-through, teaching music and sports, and conflict resolution. I have been trained in trauma-informed care as well.
