About Naomi

Hi, I am currently volunteering in Cuenca, Ecuador and I will be returning for work in May. I rotate through five orphanages serving children ages 0-16, as well as a special needs facility for adult residents. I love creating engaging activities that get kids outside and moving, while also encouraging creativity, imagination, and social-emotional growth. Previously, I worked as a live-in nanny in Spanish Fork, Utah for a five- and 2-year-old, in addition to several years of babysitting experience with children ages 1-8 in Homer, Alaska. I am currently pursuing a degree in Social Work and have completed coursework in psychology and child development. I also have housekeeping experience and am continuing to learn Spanish. I am patient, reliable, and passionate about creating a nurturing, active, and joyful environment where children feel safe and supported.
