Nanna came to our family through a colleague’s referral and was an exceptional caregiver for our son with autism and Asperger’s syndrome. She consistently went above and beyond, often sitting on the floor to play and engage with him since he could not walk or sit independently. She treated our son as if he were her own, showing remarkable patience, compassion, and dedication every day. Moving away from Maryland was difficult, and I often wished we had stayed because caregivers like Nanna are truly rare. ❤️
