About Nancy

I'd describe my personality as interested in others and wanting to give back to others what was given to me while I cared for my mom. I like caring for seniors because I oversaw my mom's 6 years of Alzheimer's and learned so much. I have a certificate from Music and Memory which not only taught me how to create playlists for Alzheimer's seniors, I also led a high class for a year teaching six students how to create playlists. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to relieve family members who care for elderly loved ones at home. I cared for seniors about 10 years. In my spare time, I like teaching drawing. I also taught art to Alzheimer's residents. I formerly owned my own art school, "Monart Drawing Is Fun in Taylor , Michigan . I had students from age 4 to age 90. One thing you should know about me is I learned a lot about caring for dementia patients My skills include companionship , redirecting agitated Alzheimer's sufferers, cooking , driving, teaching art.
